Biden Tells Supporters He's Running For President

Biden is said to be laying the groundwork for a one-day donation blitz, similar to what current candidates Bernie Sanders and Beto O'Rourke launched in the first 24 hours after declaring their bids.

Biden has indicated in recent weeks that he's close to announcing a campaign for the Democratic nomination, which would be his third, but hadn't made a final decision.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution also wrote about the Biden-Abrams meeting: "The 76-year-old Biden is a veteran Washington lawmaker and well-connected politico comfortable in the party's establishment". This line of attack has endangered a key Biden political asset: his popularity among African-American voters, mostly attributable to his two-term partnership with Barack Obama.

"Joe Biden is someone who sees the differences in our country and inspires us, reminds us of the ways in which we have overcome them in the past and will lift us up", Coons said. However, the prospective millionaire donors reportedly committed to Biden that they would donate the maximum amount they're legally allowed to dole out during an election cycle: A mere $2,700.

Former Vice President Joe Biden, who's still not an official candidate, comes out a solid ten points ahead of Trump, an Emerson College poll finds.

"My objective is to make sure I want to do that job, and because I'd not thought about the Senate before - it had never been in my list of considerations", Abrams told the Associated Press when asked about whether she would consider running for the United States Senate. A top Democrat fundraiser for years, Susman was appointed finance chairman of John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign.

The choice of Abrams would be advantageous to Biden in a number of ways.
