The 3 faces of New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft

The 3 faces of New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft

"I would take their whole draft from them", Scott said Friday on WFAN's "Carlin, Maggie and Bart" show. "Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further", his spokesperson said.

On Friday, New England Patriots fans as well as sports fans in general were shocked when a report surfaced that Robert Kraft was charged with two separate counts of soliciting prostitution as part of a six-month investigation involving human traffickers who lured women to work in local spas in the Jupiter, Florida area.

"The NFL is aware of the ongoing law enforcement matter and will continue to monitor developments", the NFL added.

"'Does the video contain Mr. Kraft inside receiving the alleged acts?' The answer to that is, 'Yes, '" the lead investigator in the case said in a press conference.

In 2014, Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay was suspended six games and fined $500,000 following his guilty plea to a misdemeanor DWI charge.

Under league policy, players, owners, coaches and other employees can be punished for "conduct detrimental to the integrity of and public confidence in" the NFL.

Kraft, who also owns the New England Revolution MLS franchise, denied the accusations on Friday afternoon. His wife, Myra Hiatt, died in 2011 and he started dating Ricki Noel Lander, 39, in 2012. "He's proclaimed his innocence, totally, but I am very surprised to see it".

The owner of Orchids of Asia Day Spa, 58-year-old Hua Zhang, was arrested Tuesday on 29 prostitution and related charges.

Kraft, who made his initial fortune through a packaging company, bought the Patriots in 1994 for $172 million to keep the team from moving to St. Louis. It also focuses yet another unflattering light on the Patriots, this one being turned on just weeks after the team's victory over the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII - its sixth championship this century.

Kraft, widely considered one of the NFL's most powerful and influential owners, has become a hero to may Bostonians.

Governor Charles Baker "finds these allegations deeply disturbing and condemns all acts of sexual exploitation", Anisha Chakrabarti, a spokeswoman for the governor, said in an email.
