Google Pixel 3 rumor roundup: Everything we know so far

Both the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, will have 4GB RAM and at least 64GB internal storage.

Just a week ago we saw the full-fledged post unboxing pictures of the upcoming Pixel 3 XL, the first pictures of the Pixel 3 leaked as well.

The new leak shows a 5.5-inch display with a resolution coming in at 2160×1080. The handset looks just like a mini version of the Pixel 2 XL. Although there is no way to confirm the photos are indeed legitimate, all of the images appear to match up to previous rumors.




As for the camera, it seems that there will be dual 8MP cameras on the front, one with a f/1.8 aperture and another with a f/2.2 aperture. There are two dates now being thrown around: October 4 and October 9, with the latter being reported more recently.

The person lucky enough to hold the Google Pixel 3 in his hands also took some screenshots (below) of its specs. Unfortunately, now we know that those watches will not come to fruition this year. As per the sources, there are upgrades which have been done to the rear shooter as well as a new Visual Core chip along with a front-facing dual camera setup which comes with the new Super Selfies. The regular 3 is expected to have a more traditional, notch-less screen. Nearly immediately afterward, Roland Quandt from WinFuture reported that there would be three-not one-Google Pixel Watch devices launching this fall.

After Apple's iPhone event on September 12, the next flagship smartphone event to look forward to will be Google's. Russian publication Mobile Review claims the Google Pixel 3 phone would start at $649 and the Pixel 3 XL will have a starting price of $749. Ahead of the rumoured October 9th launch date, few hands-on images of the alleged Pixel 3 have surfaced on the interwebs, giving us a glimpse at the phone's design and specifications.
