Book on Obama's visit calls for cohesion

Obama's first visit to Africa in the wake of steping out as U.S. president, he commended President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga for indicating solidarity following last civil argument of presidential decision.

The former USA president, in a footage by a Kanyan Television, was seen pulling his grandmother Sarah Obama, clad in traditional garb, onto the dance floor and moving to some music. It means rooting out the corruption to make a civic life.

Tight security has been beefed up at Obama's ancestral home ahead of him arrival and journalists having limited access to the area.

Obama paid a visit to his father's country in East Africa to help launch a sports and training center that was founded by his half-sister, Auma Obama's, foundation Sauti Kuu.

"We are here to welcome our brother Barack Obama, but we have several challenges because we are not able to see our son", said Boniface Rachula, a farmer from Kogelo who was turned away from the event. There's a reason why my name's Barack Hussein Obama.

"It is a joy to be back with so many people who are family to me, and so many people who claim to be family".

"Kenya has made extraordinary strides in recent decades_ There has been real progress in this unbelievable country and it should inspire today's young Kenyans to demand even more progress", Obama, the first black US President, said during the ceremony. He barely knew his late father for whom he was named, Barack Obama, an economist. "My father comes from these parts", Obama said at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in 2015.

ODM leader Raila Odinga has been given special recognition in the ongoing celebration of hundred years since the birth of South African freedom icon Nelson Mandela.
