911 call from Demi Lovato's Hollywood Hills home released

911 call from Demi Lovato's Hollywood Hills home released

Demi Lovato is awake and responsive, but the reason for the "Sober" singers Tuesday morning collapse, which brought emergency responders to her Los Angeles home, remains a mystery.

A source tells ET that the 25-year-old singer is still in the hospital after her apparent drug overdose, with no indication of when she might be discharged.

Demi's family have asked the public not to speculate over the circumstances of her hospitalisation, despite numerous reports that the incident was related to a suspected heroin overdose.

Officers on the scene reportedly took photographs of drug paraphernalia they found in the house and remnants of what looked to be illegal drugs in the home but do not plan to press any charges since they were responding to a medical call and not a criminal report.

Lovato's publicist did not immediately return a message Thursday about the call or an update on Lovato's condition. "He arrived and left by himself", a source told E!

Meanwhile, more details are emerging about the wild bash that led to Lovato's overdose.

"We just need to get somebody out here."

A source told Fox News that it was "not heroin".

"F**k, I forgot the lyrics", she said, laughing.

In the past 48 hours, thousands of supporters have shared ways that Lovato's personal story, candid conversations and music have inspired them and helped them through hard times in their lives.

"She fired him a few weeks ago, they had a big argument and then they unfollowed each other on social media".

Cheat Codes and Lovato released a hit song together past year called "No Promises", so the switch out isn't completely out of left field, and fans of Lovato can be sure to still hear at least one of her songs in the trio's set. In the song she sings, "I'm sorry for the fans I lost who watched me fall again".

She has also admitted having more than one overdose scare in the past, even while promoting a sober lifestyle.

She's now on tour and was scheduled to perform in New Jersey this week.
