Here's a look at the major announcements by Microsoft at E3 2018

Here's a look at the major announcements by Microsoft at E3 2018

Yet, for the last couple of years the show has been, let's just say not the best of the year. The console has improved substantially since launch, both in terms of features and pricing, and the introduction of the high-end Xbox One X has grabbed the interest of many.

The Last Of Us Part II is the long-awaited sequel to 2013 Bafta award-winning original and was showcased at a special event ahead of the opening of the E3 video games trade show in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Microsoft described the system as one different from the Ready to Start system. While the Xbox One lags behind the PlayStation 4, and now the Nintendo Switch, in sales, Microsoft clearly wanted people to know they aren't giving up.

Signs point to Halo Infinite for PC as well, considering Microsoft is pushing exclusives to Windows 10 as well.

Microsoft has not issued an official statement as to when the Xbox Two will be released.

What platforms will Halo Infinite be released on?

Microsoft's Xbox One X is already on a really strong footing. This is problem number one for a company that still wants you to buy their console, and hopefully sign up for Xbox Live and Xbox Game Pass while you're at it. Of course, with the company also working on numerous Surface tablets, Microsoft could even try offering these with game controllers and price points meant to position them as Xbox extenders, either within the existing Xbox One ecosystem, or as part of a future product. Spencer refused to announce any other details. Look no further than the first big announcement of the night, Halo Infinite. Retailers are not wasting any time to offer pre-orders for the just-announced titles.

Similarly, if Sony and Microsoft stick with an AMD GPU, they should be able to look forward to relatively straightforward ports as well. Xbox Live players are up 13 percent and Xbox One sales are up 15 percent over the same period past year, but that's not all.

We're seeing a return to the familiar art style, and the new engine will play a big role in the gameplay. While the game is essentially Super Smash Bros. for Wii U with an even more massive roster, we can't help but get excited about the thought of finally getting to pit the likes of Mario, Solid Snake, Mega Man, Ryu, Ridley and the Inklings from Splatoon all against each other in a single match.

Cloud streaming is the way AAA developers (video game industry) and Microsoft are hoping to reach billions of mobile devices that are traditionally known for transitory experiences.

In the framework of the E3 press conference 2018, the Corporation has shown a lot of projects, but majority were cross-platform, but because attention to these franchises was maximum. While some great games were announced - some new things and fantastic looking titles - something was lacking.
