Heather Locklear arrested, accused of battery on officer, emergency personnel

Heather Locklear was rushed to the hospital Monday, hours after being released on bail following her arrest on charges of misdemeanor battery Sunday night.

It was at that time that Locklear kicked one of the deputies interviewing her and she was arrested on the scene.

An ambulance was called for Locklear - police were concerned for her well-being - and as she was being put onto a gurney, she reportedly kicked an EMT in the chest. It seems her last trip to jail was a real wake up call for her because she feels miserable, is sincerely sorry, and ready to do things differently.

Heather, who was booked on two counts of misdemeanor battery, was taken to a hospital first for evaluation before her trip to jail.

Has Heather Locklear finally reached rock bottom? "In the process of trying to separate her, she battered the deputy. There was no injury to the deputy".

Back on February 25, Heather was arrested for domestic violence and assaulting a police officer following an altercation with her boyfriend.

In 911 dispatch audio obtained by the site, the family member described Locklear as erratic and said she was looking for a gun to shoot herself.

She was fined $900 (£678) and sentenced to three years' informal probation after pleading guilty to reckless driving.

Locklear was one of TV's biggest stars in the 1980s with roles on Dynasty and TJ Hooker.

An engagement to fellow Melrose Place actor Jack Wagner was called off in 2011.

But she has struggled in recent years with substance abuse. They attempted to get her away from her friends and family, with whom she was arguing.
