That first Big Mac was so good he's had 30000 of them

Don Gorske now holds the world record for "most Big Macs consumed"! Before her death, she asked Gorske to skip eating a Big Mac on the day she died, in remembrance of her.

Gorske has been obsessed with the burgers since he tried his first one back in that same McDonald's in 1972, 46 years ago.

And in 2016, USA Today tagged along with Gorske to watch him eat his 29,000th Big Mac.

That day happened to be Thanksgiving and the restaurant was closed.

Gorske says that regardless of consuming the fast-food favourite not less than as soon as a day, his ldl cholesterol and blood strain readings are each regular. Among the other Big Mac-related facts he knows is the date that McDonald's switched from lettuce leaves to shredded lettuce - February 10, 1999. "At my last medical check-up I had low cholesterol and my blood pressure was ideal".

WBAY-TV reports that 64-year-old Don Gorske of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin recorded the milestone at a local McDonald's on Friday (Saturday NZT).

Gorske has appeared in numerous television shows including Rachel Ray Show, Oprah, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Inside Edition, and Lopez Tonight.

Gorske - famously featured in the 2004 documentary "Super Size Me" because of his obsession with the 563-calorie, fat-laden sandwiches - insisted that his health is great.
