Police Taser, Arrest Man Accused of Fondling Passenger on Plane

Police Taser, Arrest Man Accused of Fondling Passenger on Plane

The flight crew then began deplaning the aircraft after Garcia refused to get off on his own.

In the videos, the man repeatedly asked why he was being escorted off, as passengers asked for him to be removed and even clapped when he was finally taken off.

Police asked Garcia to leave the plane voluntarily, but he "refused to comply and began to cause a disturbance", the arrest report states.

A video posted to Twitter shows a disruption on an American Airlines flight that ended with a passenger being arrested.

In the clip, Garcia can be seen grappling with the burly officers.

Someone can then be heard saying: 'Well you just assaulted a lady for one, you're racist for two'.

When one officer tried to pick him up, Garcia allegedly grabbed the officer's handgun. Throughout the ordeal, Garcia struggles with the officers despite one's warning "don't fight me", resulting in the use of the taser. When police brought in a golf cart to take him outside, Garcia allegedly slumped to the ground to impede the officers.

Mr Ennis told the Mirror: 'We all had to deplane in order to get him off. After about 15 minutes, they walked him out.

American Airlines passenger Jacob Garcia was arrested after touching a female passenger inappropriately and resisting efforts to remove him from the aircraft, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department.

The statement says during that process, a physical altercation broke out between the two passengers.

In videos given to Local 10 News by passengers on board, the man was being combative with flight attendants and law enforcement officers who were taking him into custody.

RT.com has reached out to the Miami Dade Police Department for further details.

The flight, which was scheduled to take-off at 9:30 p.m., later departed about an hour later. We thank our crews and airport customer service team for their excellent work in this situation'.

Jacob Garcia is count each of battery, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, depriving an officer of a firearm, and criminal mischief.
