Streaker runs onto fairway at PGA Tour event in Arizona

If you know anything about the Waste Management Phoenix Open, you know how WILD things get on that 17th hole. Combine that with the fact that everybody in the crowd is on a mission to get as hammered as possible and we have a recipe for the most LIT hole on the PGA Tour.

"I'm trying to focus on right here, right now, more than focusing on the win", he said.

Rahm almost won this tournament as an amateur a few years ago, and it's easy to see him making it two in three weeks on the PGA Tour on Sunday.

After Saturday's record-setting day, the attendance for the week has risen to 654,906 and is only 528 fans away from tying last year's record-setting week of 655,434.

It's going to be a great weekend as there are 18 players sitting within three shots of the leaders, including Lefty Mickelson and world number 3 Jon Rahm, both at -7.

"He was just pumped and excited to be out there watching us", Fowler said. "I may be somewhat of a fan favorite, but they weren't holding back", he said. Connell, born with a rare airway disorder, passed away January 23 in Phoenix.

"The putter was hot the first nine holes", Haas, a six-times PGA Tour victor, told reporters after a round that included a 30-foot birdie at the second hole, his 11th. Although five of the last 10 events, including the last two, have been decided in a playoff, historically the requirement of extra holes was rare.

"I was always planning to wearing the badge or something in memory of him", said Fowler.

Fowler wore a pin on his hat with a picture of Griffin Connell, the area boy who died January 23 at age 7.

Phil Mickelson hasn't had a lot of reasons to consider wagering on him lately, but Lefty is a three-time victor of this event and has 45/1 odds to win this weekend.

Prior to a missed cut at the Farmers Insurance Open, Fowler had three straight top-5 finishes.

Last season's PGA player of the year Justin Thomas enjoyed a roller coaster ride of a round, birdieing the first six holes, before suffering a back-nine collapse. Hopefully, we'll have another good week here in the early part of the year.
