Dolores O'Riordan's death inquest has been 'adjourned until April'

Dolores O'Riordan's death inquest has been 'adjourned until April'

However, recent reports state that the inquest into the singer's death has been adjourned as the coroner awaits further tests results.

Dolores was found unresponsive in her room in the Hilton hotel on Park Lane in London on Monday morning and died that day.

He said a post-mortem examination has been conducted "and the court is awaiting the results of various tests that have been commissioned".

"The London Ambulance Service was contacted and verified her death at the scene".

Police have determined her death to be non-suspicious.

Acclaimed for her unique vocals, O'Riordan found fame in the 90s as the lead singer of The Cranberries.

The parish priest from O'Riordan's home town, Fr James Walton, said the funeral mass will take place on Tuesday in the Church of Saint Ailbe in Ballybricken, Co Limerick, at 11.30am. She was in the city to record a metal version of the Cranberries' hit "Zombie" with a band called Bad Wolves, a new group consisting of former members of God Forbid, DevilDriver and This Moment.

Now the band have released the remix in the Irish star's memory, with the money made going to 20-year-old Taylor, 16-year-old Molly and 12-year-old Dakota - Dolores' children with ex-husband Don Burton.

Meanwhile combined sales and streams of the band's singles rise 1134% since the previous week, with three tracks re-entering today's Official Singles Chart Top 100.

Earlier this week, O'Riordan's bandmates paid tribute to the Irish singer on Twitter, writing: "We are devastated on the passing of our friend Dolores".

No family were present at the court.

This week Dolores' mother Eileen and family expressed their heartfelt thanks to the people of Limerick for their love and support since their tragic loss.
