At least four displaced by Christmas morning fire

Investigators said the fire was determined have started accidentally as a result of an electrical problem at one mobile home, and it then spread to another mobile home.

Pembroke Fire, Fort Campbell Fire and Oak Grove Fire departments all responded.

Several families are displaced after a garage fire damaged several apartment units Monday morning, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.

Firefighters found heavy smoke and fire when they arrived on Chestnut Street. She said she knew the man who died in the afternoon fire.




The blaze was extinguished by 7:04 a.m., fire officials said.

"Thankfully, the family won't need to leave home on Christmas", Franklin said. One person was taken in good condition to Roseland Community Hospital, and two other people refused medical treatment.

Also on Christmas Eve, there was a vehicle fire on Kingston Court in New Sudbury, outside a residence.

Red Cross is assisting the 54 residents affected by the fire with necessities and lodging. Sunday's fire represents the first Marshfield fire since the campaign began.
