Jurgen Klopp: 'Mohamed Salah has nothing to prove to Chelsea'

Jurgen Klopp: 'Mohamed Salah has nothing to prove to Chelsea'

Mohamed Salah is a "dangerous" player, according to Antonio Conte.

Conte said: "It was a problem to land because there was a lot of wind".

Salah leads the Premier League scoring charts with nine goals in 12 appearances since joining from Roma for £34 million in the summer.

Maybe because of the manager, because of the players, I don't know.

Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte has hailed Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp as "one of the world's best coaches" ahead of Saturday's visit to Anfield. But the captain was very good.

Like Salah, he left Chelsea while current Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho was in charge of the London club, and Klopp described Salah's decision to make his name elsewhere as "completely normal".

"It wasn't a good result, we nearly felt like we do after a defeat", the Brazil worldwide told Liverpool's official website. "He is a good player and very risky".

"But I look at Manchester United and they are around that area [near the top of the table] with a team that is very strong, especially due to their manager and for that Manchester United could be competitive towards the end of the season as well".

"And I think all of the players, we all switched off a little bit and we thought that at 3-0 it was going to be a little bit hard for the opposition [to come back]".

"He was very young, in a very strong team and he didn't come through".

"We like to live the game, with intensity, with passion, to stay on the touchline and try to help our players", he added.

"We had a great first half and then in the second half we let everything unravel and so we were all feeling very frustrated. We need to pay attention but not only to him but to Mane, Firmino, Sturridge and all their strikers because They have a great attacking potential as a team".
