Horizon Zero Dawn's Aloy Comes to Monster Hunter World in New Trailer

Monster Hunter World beta dates were today detailed by Capcom at Paris Games Week.

Aloy being a part of the game is somewhat fitting since Horizon is clearly inspired by the earlier Monster Hunter games. Yep, you'll be able to use Aloy gear within the game, as you can glimpse at in the above trailer!

And the PS4 exclusive announcements didn't end here, as the company also revealed a beta for the game starting on December 9. Players can also dress up in the game to look like Horizon: Zero Dawn protagonist Aloy as apart of a collaborative effort. It's gonna be a wild ride, Monster Hunters!

Multiple quests will be on offer, allowing players to take on monsters like the Great Jagras and Anjanath.

The other news is that PlayStation Plus users will get a chance to try out Monster Hunter World for themselves first, thanks to a special online beta period.

The content won't be available at launch, but obviously it'll never be released on other formats -because Horizon Zero Dawn is a Sony exclusive. Littered with the skeletons of deceased monsters, a land of unique and big creatures awaits amongst this bed of bones.

Capcom is a leading worldwide developer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment for game consoles, PCs, handheld and wireless devices.

Monster Hunter: World launches on January 26 for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
