Huawei Mate 10 renders leak

Huawei Mate 10 renders leak

Elsewhere, the renders show the Huawei Mate 10 with a USB Type-C port on the bottom for charging, and a 3.5mm headphone port on top, so there will be no need to change your headphones. Now, this suggests that the Honor V10 will be fueled by the all-new Kirin 970 SoC which was announced by Huawei at IFA, and that is not exactly a huge surprise considering that the Honor V9 was fueled by the Kirin 960, which was Huawei's flagship SoC for a year ago.

So it is safe to say that the Honor V10 would be equipped with a Kirin 970 chipset. Also, the company might move a fingerprint scanner to the front side of the Honor V10, even though it was placed on the back of the Honor V9, but the Honor 9 sports a front-facing fingerprint scanner, so... it remains to be seen what will be the case with the Honor V10.

According to some rumors in the industry, Huawei Mate 10 will be having regular version and pro-version. That might disappoint some fans, but it does look like the regular Mate 10 will have thinner bezels than the Mate 9. The edges are also well rounded and this time around, there isn't going to be a rear fingerprint sensor but a front fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button. If you have been following the news lately, then you probably already know a thing or two about it. The back itself, though, may trade brush aluminium for glass. The 5.9-inch screen will be the same size as the Mate 9, although the overall device is a hair narrower, indicating slimmer bezels. Apple's 32GB refresh of the venerable iPhone 6 enabled it to regain momentum during the month, with popularity across prepaid markets to edge out Samsung's Galaxy J7. Meanwhile, everyone is now keeping an eye out for Apple as it prepares to announce the iPhone 8 next week on September 12.

Other specifications are open to further speculation, but it would be a safe bet to predict the mate 10 will have Huawei's latest Kirin 970 system-on-a-chip at its heart paired with 6GB of RAM and on board storage starting at 64GB; the renders suggest that there's no microSD slot to allow for more storage space to be added.

"As we look to the future of smartphones, we're at the threshold of an exciting new era", said Richard Yu, CEO of the Huawei Consumer Business Group, at IFA.
